How to Detoxify and survive while doing a 21 Day Detox is possible!
The “how to detoxify” process can be overwhelming at times. Physically there are the headaches, joint pain, nausea, and more. Mentally our mind becomes a battle ground. Emotionally… well they are all over the place, and spiritually we find ourselves saying “God is this really you”?
Pace yourself
Learning how to detoxify and survive while doing it during this 21 days is key to maintaining your cleanse and finishing well. Many of us, (well actually all of us) start out a cleanse ecstatic, full of expectation, and with a bang!
But by day 3, the honeymoon stage of a cleanse is long gone.
The cleanse somehow becomes our enemy.
In almost an instant when discomfort of some kind comes, we automatically want to default to what we know – to that which brings us comfort.
To most of us it’s food.
Whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional, pain will always seek comfort of some kind.

Detoxify slowly
When I discovered that I could learn how to detoxify and control my speed of cleanse without feeling like I’m dying in the process, it made all the difference in the world! I actually look forward to fasting, cleansing, and the detoxifying process!
My attitude of all or nothing with doing a cleanse begins to vanish. I don’t have to feel guilty when changing up my choice level of cleanse. Learning how to work with my body and pacing myself is wise!
Main thing to remember is God is really more concerned with our heart’s condition rather than, which type of cleanse we choose or how comfortable we are in the process. Learning how to detoxify slowly transformed my cleansing experiences and it will do the same for you!
Fasting will help us identify what or who we are or are not dependent upon. Learning how to detoxify makes the process possible.
